What’s your name, and what do you do at PerfectDraft?
Hey, I’m Stijn (pronounced like the German glass) and I’m the Brand Manager for PerfectDraft. Recently I have been working a lot on PD CON 23 and I am so excited to see the community come together on November 4th in Manchester!
What was your last PerfectDraft pint?
Hertog Jan Grand Pilsner. Being Dutch I have to give credit to Hertog Jan for bringing this onto PerfectDraft. Their Pilsener is my go-to lager and I always make sure I have some Grand Pilsner kegs in the garage for when friends visit and I want to go a bit more special.
What's your dream beer on PerfectDraft?
Ooohh.. that's a tricky one. With the new PerfectDraft Pro I love the fact I can now control the temperature of my beer. I would be really interested in knowing what a barrel aged beer tastes like. Again - Hertog Jan do a very good job with these so I would have to go with a Grand Prestige here! I will need those 30 days to empty that keg though as it's a heavy hitter!
What's your favourite food to have with beer?
Plain and simple; Belgian fries! Put a good bit of mayonnaise on top and get a lager loading into my PD - all set for a good Friday night I reckon!
Mystery question: If you could have any guest from any time period as a guest speaker at PD CON - Who would it be and why?
I am so excited about who´s going to attend PD CON - still, having Frank Sinatra there would surely take it to the next level. A bit selfish as I am a big fan, but I know Frank was a beer lover as well. Would love to see the look on his eyes if he sees what's possible today - pouring beer at home from his very own PerfectDraft - Ol' Blue Eyes wouldn't know what's hit him!
